I wish I had duck feet
Today we retold I wish I had duck feet by Dr Seuss. We looked at the structure of the story and how we could get one idea to flow in to the next. We looked closely at the language features that he uses such as listing sentences, rhyming words and paragraphing. We tried out very best to follow this structure. Below are some of our versions. We hope you like them!

Student Led Conferences
Last night the students of Room 9 talked to their parents about their learning this year. They told them all about where they were at the start of the year and where they are now. They told them what goals they are working on to get to the next level in reading, writing and maths. There were heaps of very in depth conversations and lots of very proud mums and dads!
A huge congratulations guys and girls. You definitely did your teacher and most of all yourselves proud!
