Basic Facts Competition

CONGRATULATIONS
PARTHIV and CAMERON!

Today was the Middle School Basic Facts Competition.  Each class had to select 2 participants to compete against the other 4 classes.  They had to answer questions in front of a huge audience.  They started with addition and subtraction, then a multiplication and division round. Then Mrs Pye and Miss Hammond made it harder, it was time for the mixed round.  But they were too good at those questions too.  So, the teachers bought out the senior questions, the tricky hard questions that the senior school used!  But even that proved too easy!  So the teachers got crafty.  They reduced the time from 5 secs to 3 secs.  And unfortunately this tripped Cameron up, who end up an awesome 3rd overall!  This left Parthiv as our last hope.  The next round needed the entrants to yell out the answer first, whoever was right got the point and the first one to 5 won.  Parthiv was up 4 - 0, when his opponent came back to make it 4 - 3.  After lots of draws and "Answer Sneezes," Parthiv was crowned the Overall winner!  WAHOOO.  GO ROOM 9!
