Sensible Blog Comments

Today we had a big learning curve about why we have a blog and what we can do to be responsible Frankton Students on here.

We know that our blog is about sharing our classroom, school and learning with our family, friends and other schools.  Everyone that comes to this blog is interested in what we are doing and therefore we need to be careful about what we post.  They read our comments too.

We learnt about a comment sandwich.  This is not a tasty lunch treat!  But an important way to post a comment to someone to help them learn.
1) You start with something nice, "That was awesome", " Wow look at that writing."  "I agree with you".
2) You give them feedback, "Next time you could", "You might like to..."
3) You finish with a warm fuzzy, "Can't wait to see how it turns out", "Lookind forward to seeing it."

The big thing to remember is:

IF YOU WOULD NOT SHOW YOUR GRANMA DON'T WRITE IT!
