The Olympic Bus tour came to visit today! The Special guest was Sarah Ulmer who has competed at 3 Olympics games, the first one when she was 20! Wow. She told all all about the Individual Pursuit Race that she use to compete in and how she set a world record! She said that although she has won about 150 medals since she was 16, she has lost more that she has ever won.
She asked us questions and we were allowed to ask her question. Jake was able to tell her that after the medal ceremony they play the Nation Anthem. He won a cool ANZ Bankk Drink bottle. Parthiv asked her "How many centimeters was her race?" Even Miss Hammond got that one wrong! Oops. He won a cool ANZ Bank hat and even got his photo take with her! Wonder if he will be in the paper tomorrow?
Then Josh got to go in the Double Decker Bus. He said there were Bicyles and Ipads and all sorts of cool gadgets inside. I wonder what else he learnt?
I learn't that most bike rider's ride faster than a car!And that obviously mean's that I'm not a bike rider.

ReplyDeleteLondon's great so far and i went to the natural history muesuem and learnt what really happened to the dinosaurs. What happened to the dinosaurs was a meteor hit the Earth and several earthquakes took place all the dinosaurs died and the fossils of the dinosaurs were buried underground.

DeleteI also learnt if a trex trips up it can kill itself because it's to heavy.
