  2. Hi miss hammond. I found some people that have been in 2008 in Beijing.So the GOLD medalists were:

    Caroline Evers-Swindell, Georgina Evers-Swindell, rowing, women's double sculls.
    Tom Ashley, sailing, men's RS:X - windsurfer
    Valerie Vili, athletics, women's shot putt.I found these on:About.com australia travel.so then I just went copy and paste.

    Andre Lange
    Adriana Carmona
    Anita Moen

    and other sorts of people from other countries and by the way this was from the olympic website.Also i'm going to London if anyone didn't know.

  4. the ancient greeks first came up with the oiymipics. did you now the men used to compete nakeed and the ladies where not allowed to watch!!!!!. the oiymipic flag has five rings ,blue,yellow,black,green,and red!!!.you be the best of the best by practicing and practing!!!!!!!

    Who runs it?
    Why do they have the olympics in the first place?
    How many sports are there?
    Who selects you to be in the olympics?
    Do you have to stay in a hotel when your in london?

    And now it seems i've forgotton the other ones.
