Olympics

Today we immersed ourselves in the Olympics!  We are looking at how you can be the best of the best.  Miss Hammond set up lots of little stations around the room with different activities to do.  The computers had the official website on, there were wordfinds, articles, books and heaps of other things.  As we weere working we kept askign question, so we recorded these on a wondering wall and challenged each other to find the answers.  Below is what we have learned so far.

Ethan Says - Today we have been learning about the olympics.  I learnt that every sport has a different age that you have to be.

Ella Says - Do you know that their is only 49 days until the Olympics start.

Parthiv Says - They expected 405 nations to participate at the olympics.

Dallas Says - I learnt that professionals can't go to the olympics because then it wont be fair to everyone else.

Autumn Says - I heard that when i was reading one of the stories that the olympics was 3000 years ago.
